Vehicle Description
This custom 1955 Chevy Nomad is loaded with modifications. It is
powered by an upgraded 383ci GM performance engine and automatic
transmission and is equipped with a Currie 9" rear axle, adjustable
coilover suspension with tubular A-arms and 4-link, and power
4-wheel Baer disc brakes with drilled rotors. The custom leather
interior features deluxe gauges, custom Vintage Air, power windows,
tilt steering wheel and a custom sound system. This custom has been
modified throughout with dual custom exhaust, stainless-steel gas
tank, oversized aluminum radiator, California one-piece bumpers,
shaved door handles with remote opener and vintage Budnik wheels.
It has appeared on "Popular Hot Rodding" in episode #229816 with
Dean Skuza and Cameron Evans, and has been featured in Popular Hot
Rodding magazine in February 2002 and on the cover of Jeg's
magazine in April 2003. This award-winning custom has earned the
Winner of Class award at the Grand National Roadster Show in 2002
and 2004, and Outstanding Undercarriage Custom award, and Boyd's
Pick at the Goodguys show in Del Mar, CA, in 2001. **TITLE IN
