For Sale: 1960 Chevrolet Biscayne in Jefferson, Wisconsin

Vehicle Description

This car has certainly been transferred. Today it is a very attractive, great running and driving, powerful, comfortable, fun to drive show car.

It began life in Atlanta, where the factory built it to a six cylinder, three speed, manual steering and brakes cheap car that was actually blue and white.

A complete make-over that was done from front-to-back and top-to-bottom has it in much more desirable state. All of this on a rust-free car that spent lots of time in Arizona and Oklahoma.

The 350 crate engine is topped with a new tri-power carburation system. It performs well. The new clutch and Tremec 5 speed pair up perfectly with the 3.55 rear gears and over-sized tires. It sounds great through headers and 2 1/2 inch dual exhaust all the way out the back.

This car is so nice.  The doors shut with a click. The glass is all clear. The bumpers were rechromed. The wheels and tires are near new.

It rides and drives great doe to Hotchkiss suspension front and rear. The 605 power steering box makes for one finger control, even with the smaller Billet Specialties steering wheel. The column is now tilt for added comfort.

Stopping is so much better due to a power boosted dual master cylinder and front disc brakes. Even the parking brake works on this car.

Your comfort is truly enhanced by the Vintage heat and air conditioning system. Who wants to seat all over the gorgeous Ciadella interior? To buy the kit and have it installed is well over $4000!

All features work with the exception of the horn. The doors lock via key. There is a spare, jack and lug wrench in the trunk. All lights work properly. The gauges were new upon restoration. The odometer shows under 8000 miles sice. I am told there is less then 1000 on this powertrain.

This car is perfectly road worthy. It even has seat belts. But don’t think for a moment that it wont clean up well and look fabulous at the car show. It is extremely attractive.

Lots of time and money were spent to transform this car into what it is today. Truthfully, more than twice the asking price. It is your time to take advantage of this great opportunity.
