Long Description: Lot #1147 - This 1967 Chevrolet Nova Custom was built to pound the pavement and look great doing it. This was a rust-free car prior to a comprehensive restoration. The body is very straight with great gaps throughout and the fiberglass cowl hood is lightweight and fits well. The car sports a stunning custom Yellow Pearl paint job with all-new smoked glass, modern-style headlights, and a power cut off switch incorporated in the rear taillight. All of the stainless steel was restored and the original bumpers were re-plated. The car has a killer stance and sits on Billet Specialties polished wheels. The all-new black interior looks nostalgic with tasteful upgrades including Dynamat installation, an NHRA roll cage with easy access to the front and rear, painless wiring, Covan gauge cluster, AutoMeter gauges, factory dash mounted RPM gauge, factory SS steering wheel, Ididit chrome tilt steering column, B&M floor shifter and Vintage Air. Behind the glovebox door is a custom switch panel, MSD ignition box and EFI programmer. The trunk compartment houses a top-of-the-line aluminum fuel cell and aluminum box for the Optima battery. The engine compartment is nicely detailed with many upgrades. The heart of this beast is a professionally built Dart 434 EFI V8 engine putting out 613hp and 495ft/lbs. of torque. Multiple dyno sheets and engine specs are included with the car. The engine breathes through a Flowmaster 3" exhaust system that sounds amazing, and is cooled by a Howe aluminum radiator with an electric fan. The engine is coupled to a TCI built Turbo 350 automatic transmission with cooler and a street/strip stall converter that transfers power to a custom-built Ford 9" Truetrac locker rear end with Currie axles, 3.08 gears and an aluminum center section. The undercarriage is very clean with subframe connectors and rear mini tubs. The rack & pinion steering is precise. It has a Wilwood master cylinder and 4-wheel disc brakes that stop quickly. The front suspension consists of Church Boys tubular control arms and sway bar along with Viking adjustable shocks while the rear consists of Comp Engineering traction bars, Caltracs Mono leaf springs, and fabricated upper shock mounts with RCD Bilstein shocks. This stunning custom has been driven 1,615 miles since its completion.
