1951 Ford Deluxe. Wow! Total Professional Restoration of a great
Survivor to begin with. Just out of estate, this elderly gentleman
loved this Ford. Stunning Black finish, approximately 5 years old
and looks new. Every inch of chrome has been replaced. Including
both bumpers and all four bumper gaurds. Grill headlight and
taillight bezels and lenses all new. Also new front and rear Ford
Crest emblems and rechromed hood ornament. New trim rings and
hubcaps. Expensive Wide White sidewall tires. All weather stripping
and painted including Cowell front and rear windshield new glass
doors and trunk weather stripping is new straight and scratch-free
body. Is dry excellent original. Body mounts floors frame and trunk
and Sheet Metal all good and original sweet car underneath.
Overhauled Street Factory 6 cylinder. Yes we know, wish she had the
V8. But most people don't know the flathead V8 has only 5 more
horsepower than the 6, and only 226 ci 6 cylinder vs 8 cylinder 239
only 13 ci difference. Can't really tell the difference. This car
does 65 to 70 all day with factory Highway gears. Motor and motor
Bay and trunk are nicely detailed with Factory spare and Jack. We
just did the brakes and wheel cylinders so she is Turn-Key and Road
ready. All mechanics and lights and clutch are excellent. Dash is
amazing, clear glass, new knobs, radio, heater and clock options.
Door panels headliner seats carpet all new. Seems like a fall of
1950 new car show. Brand new complete exhaust. Only 74K actual with
documents and original manual. Excellent glass. Gentlemen even
installed optional extra oil filter, shows pride of ownership.
