This truck was purchased new by the Lykens Village Fire Department,
in Bloomsfield, Ohio from Truka Chevrolet, Buick in 1975. The truck
saw little use in the more than 40 years of ownership by the
Department. It was, however, very well taken care of by the firemen
during their free time. The truck has 5,900 original miles and
still retains its original paint and interior. The only item on the
truck that is not original is the rear bumper, which has been put
back to stock, as the fire department had changed it to an
aftermarket unit in the past. The truck looks and drives almost as
new. Everything works and its original books are included.
