Vehicle Description
1957 was the last year for the oval window Beetles. This example
has been restored to a glossy shine in its factory Pastel Green
paint and original trim, both of which are in excellent condition.
The Hella headlights are in great shape, as are the rest of the
car's lights. This Bug rolls on new wide whitewall tires and
factory moon wheel covers. The body panels are in very good order
and for extra storage, there is a metal luggage rack atop the roof.
The engine bay is very tidy and the bumpers with their bumper guard
and tubular override bars look fantastic. Under the rear bonnet is
an upgraded 1600cc single-port 4-cylinder engine mated to an
upgraded synchronized 4-speed manual transmission. Inside is a
light beige interior with matching oatmeal carpet and a
light-colored mohair-style headliner. The front bucket seats and
rear bench are in good condition, as are the carpet and headliner.
The green metal instrument panel looks beautiful and the two-spoke
steering wheel has been restored and all interior pieces have been
painted to factory specifications.
