Gateway Classic Cars of Fort Lauderdale is excited to offer this
fantastic 1914 America La France Type Seventy-Five Firetruck. This
is a combination pumping engine, chemical engine, and hose car
built by The America La France Fire Engine Company, Inc. This
beauty is powered by a 105 horse power, six cylinder motor.
Accessories on this firetruck include a steel crow bar, a battery
box, all necessary operating tools, an acid receptacle holder, one
ten inch electric search light, one 20 foot extension ladder, one
3-gallon Babcock fire department standard extinguisher, two fire
department standard lanterns, one fire department standard axe, and
one pike pole. The truck won first place in a Florida state
competition for drafting. The term drafting water refers to the use
of suction to move a liquid such as water from a vessel or body of
water below the intake of a suction pump. One of the greatest parts
of this America La France truck is that there is a locomotive bell
and hand-operated siren horn. This firetruck has a carrying
capacity of seven men. This highly detailed firetruck is the
perfect museum piece or collectors item. If you're looking for a
