Vehicle Description
GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this 1967 Kaiser 8701
Jeepster Convertible for your consideration. This was a low
production number vehicle with only 2,327 produced in 1967 and were
only built from 1966 to 1969 as AMC bought out Kaiser in 1970. The
Jeepster was built to compete with the International Scout, Toyota
Land Cruiser, and the Ford Bronco. The Jeepster was offered with a
hard top, a convertible top, and a Pickup Truck.
This 1967 came to us from Ohio, where the owner has enjoyed it for
the last 15 years. It is powered by its 225 CID "Dauntless v-6"
with an automatic transmission capable of 160 horsepower at 4200
RPM. The Kaiser has a continental kit, trailer hitch, full size
spare, AM/FM radio, power brakes and more. The Kaiser was just
professionally sorted out at Specialty Jeeps in Coschocton, Ohio
and was given new brake shoes, springs, wheel cylinders, brake
lines, door seal kit, battery and battery cables. The gas tank was
flushed and the sending unit was replaced. The fuel lines were
replaced as well as a full fluid change. The Kaiser shows very well
both inside and out. Don't miss this opportunity to own a piece of
4x4 history.
