It still retains its VERY STRONG - ORIGINAL – 235 CID Blue Flame 6 Cylinder motor with 136HP and it runs GREAT. The Original Oil Bath Air Cleaner housing and OEM valve cover are still on the engine. The engine is backed by a smooth three speed – Manual transmission with Overdrive that also functions very well. The ORIGINAL style Black vinyl and cloth interior is Nice, shows very little to no wear, with a VERY NICE ORIGINAL Re-upholstered Black front bench seat, VERY NICE Black vinyl and cloth rear bench seat, VERY NICE ORIGINAL dash, VERY NICE ORIGINAL gauge cluster. VERY NICE Deluxe steering wheel, VERY NICE ORIGINAL matching Black vinyl and cloth door panels, NICE new black carpet, VERY NICE ORIGINAL sunvisors, VERY NICE ORIGINAL style headliner. All the interior window crank and door handle chrome is very nice. In my opinion you’re not going to find a nicer ORIGINAL style interior on a 61 year old car than the one in this Sweetheart! This Beauty is quite a deal and you will be happy with your purchase. This '56 has outstanding looks, smooth power and a SUPERB RIDE! This BEAUTY is a pleasure to drive and I assure you it runs and drives very well. I drove this car around for a couple of days, running errands and on the freeway and it is such a nice driver, it went 55-65 MPH no problem. No wondering or pulling to one side even when applying the brakes and the temp never even went to the ½ way mark, what a cool car. These vehicles have an appreciative group of owners any of which would be pleased to own this one for sure. The suspension is in nice working order as well as the electrical system. The - - New Black and White exterior finish on this vehicle is Very Nice showing a few small imperfections but is a cut and buffed and is STUNNING as you can clearly see in the 100 pictures below! The Original style Black and White two tone interior is also BEAUTIFUL! What a GORGEOUS color combination! How could you get any better? Also look at the pictures of the trunk it is in great shape and still retains the original trunk met with full sized spare tire and jack and lug wrench. This car is loaded with Sony Xplod CDX1210 AM/FM/CD/AUX digital stereo, 2 6X9 Speakers in the back tray, working windshield wipers, factory back up lights, Deluxe steering wheel, in beautiful Original shape, painted dash, original rear view mirror, good heater and defroster and dual chrome exterior mirrors. This car is ready to go and EVERYTHING WORKS!! It is in WONDERFUL mechanical condition and it runs and drives superbly. This vehicle is beautiful with respect to the overall cosmetic impression.
