What a sweetheart! I bought this car because I heard it run. I was
in Florida at a show and walked behind it.....the motor was purring
perfectly. It caught my attention, so I looked further and was very
pleased with what I saw. Doors click shut, original radio works,
door locks work. Turns out it has 66,201 actual miles and I believe
it. So it arrived today on the transport, a 25 degree day. Guess
what? Hit the key, it started up and purred- even cold! It has the
optional Thunderbird special 272 V8 with 4 barrel and dual exhaust
which exits through the back bumper. Under the hood it's completely
stock and cleaned up very nicely. First year Ford used 12 volt
system. The body is so impressive. The body panels fit so nice. The
doors are perfectly square and flush. High quality paint finish,
even being white it has a mirror reflection. Excellent chrome and
trim. Chrome front and back is new including bumpers, emblems, tail
lights, hood ornament and grill. New handles. Stainless trim is a
9. The jambs are spotless, weatherstripping is soft. Has optional
fender skirts with the stone guards. Wide whitewalls on painted
rims with full hubcaps. Inside the trunk you lift the mat and it
looks like the car was just just produced yesterday and it's
original! It does have a new mat, whitewall spare, painted run and
original jack. Interior is very well cared for. Door panels look
new, upholstery is excellent, headliner is original. Interior metal
has glossy finish. Underneath the car is rock solid. It drives
tight and smooth. New brakes and gas tank. Desirable auto trans and
power steering. If you have owned old cars, you will appreciate
this one. It will bring happiness to it's new owner!
