Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1966 Jaguar 3.8S (S-type)
sedan. This is a very original, running and driving car ready for a
straightforward restoration. Very solid body, mostly original paint
with a nice patina. It needs an interior refresh and could use some
light mechanical sorting before seeing regular road use.
New exhaust, fuel tanks have been cleaned and lined, recent carb
and brake work, steering box and differential re-seal (don't worry
- it still leaks plenty of engine oil). Numbers matching. Sold new
at Quality Motors in Triangle VA and lived in North Carolina for
many years.
Yes, it needs some restoration but good luck finding another
example so unmolested, complete and not rusty - it's an excellent
starting point for a fun rally car or weekend project, or go all
