Motorcar Studio is pleased to offer this 1955 Nash Rambler Custom
Sedan. An honest and original driver, this example looks charming
in two-two turquoise and white with grey interior. Straight and
solid with minor patina here and there but no known rust.
The Rambler was marketed as a smaller and less expensive
alternative to the large family sedans offered by the Big Three
automakers in the early 1950s. It's also lighter with better
handling thanks to its unibody construction. Under the hood is a
3.2 liter flathead straight six mated to a four-speed automatic
transmission (another innovation ahead of its time in an era
dominated by two-speed automatics or three-speed manual).
This Rambler starts, rums and drives well and the automatic
transmission operates smoothly in both upshifts and downshifts.
