Vehicle Description
Here's a coupe no one will see coming, but they will also never
forget. This 1954 Chevrolet Bel Air Sports Coupe is a was heavily
invested to customize every inch - from its polished small block,
to the custom A/C interior, to custom bodywork on the beautiful
blue paint.
This is the perfect car to use as the base for a memorable custom.
They produced less of these pillar-less Bel Air Sport Coupe models
than they did the standard two-door. It really complements the
sleek roof line, and points the way for the sporty Impalas and
Chevelles of the future. But even without the cool silhouette this
coupe would still be a stunner. The ornamentation on the hood and
trunk could easily be shaved because the Teal Blue Metallic is a
miles-deep application that shines like clear coat precious metal.
It looks particularly nice around the frenched headlights and
taillights. That doesn't mean this car skips on the bright work.
But now items like the bumpers, window surrounds, wheel covers,
full-length trim, and smiling toothy grille have a mirror-like
appearance to keep up with the stellar paintwork. The Bel Air's
signature white trim that runs the full length of the rear fender
coordinates so well with the iconic whitewall tires. This is all
such a great coordinating package, that we know you'll love showing
up everywhere and watching jaws drop as you lower the air ride
suspension to the ground.
The cool white streak on the outer trim is also a hint at what
awaits when you open the door. From the moment you lay eyes on the
interior, you realize just how much of a quality full custom built
this truly is. The seats are finished in a premium white leather,
and this matches the door panels and headliner. Plus, the
exterior-matching dash has cool custom white pinstriping to
complete a full uniform package that is sure to impress everyone,
including car show judges. Interiors like this are known for their
bright work, and not only is there plenty on the dash, but you also
have so much more thanks to upgrades like the dual spotlights and
the steering wheel borrowed from a later Impala. More than just for
appearance, this was meant to be comfortable. That's why you have
great features like an AM/FM/CD stereo with modern Bluetooth
connectivity. And because we know you'll want to show off the
pillar-less hardtop profile everywhere, there's modern R134a air
condition to keep you feeling as cool as you look.
This has an interior and exterior that you'll want to show off, the
engine bay has been given all the right show-stopping investments,
too. The V8 looks like its radiating power from within the dark
engine bay with all the polished components like the air grabber,
valve covers, brackets, pulleys, alternator, compressor, and so
much more. This is a Corvette's 327 cubic-inch small block that has
been enhanced with a performance dual air inlet, Edelbrock
four-barrel carb, performance intake, and a rumbling glass-pack
dual exhaust system. Plus, there's even an aluminum radiator with
electric fan to keep this one cool in all conditions - even when
the A/C is running. Out on the road, you'll experience more great
upgrades, like the Mustang II-style independent front suspension
with tubular A-arms, and the TCI triangulated four-link rear end by
Fat Man. Plus, there's a TH400 three-speed automatic transmission,
power steering, front disc brakes, sway bars front & rear.
This is a total package classic that's turn-key ready for the car
show at a moment's notice. So if you want to win awards tomorrow,
you need to call today!
