Vehicle Description
Out of all the Hurst Oldsmobile cars, the �72 was the smallest
production number of the legendary car line. 629 cars were made and
of that only 499 were hardtops. This hardtop example, finished in
white with reflective gold stripes, is powered by its
matching-numbers 455ci 8-cylinder engine and matching-numbers
3-speed automatic transmission with the Hurst dual gate shifter and
has a W-25 Ram Air hood. This comes optioned with factory air
conditioning (presently not working, but in the car),
matching-numbers 3:42 posi-traction rear end, and factory outside
air thermometer. The interior is all-original and the vinyl seats,
dash, and carpet are in good condition. The car has been repainted
and there are no dents, dings, or scratches in the paint. The
decals are new and in great condition and the vinyl top has also
been replaced. The motor and transmission have been rebuilt and are
super-clean. The carburetor has just been professionally rebuilt
and brakes have recently been gone through.
