Vehicle Description
This custom, all-steel body Bronco is the result of a seven year
restoration and is finished in stunning Ford Kona Blue paint. Under
the hood is a very clean engine compartment, featuring three
custom-made panels and a matte black finish with brushed aluminum
touches that houses the heart of this SUV: a Ford 302ci small block
that has been bored to .040 with all-new components. The engine
features Ford Racing heads, .284/.480 camshaft, hydraulic roller
lifters, push rods, roller rockers and double roller chain and
sprockets, a set of L&L headers, and a custom exhaust with
Flowmaster mufflers. The Edelbrock 650CFM 4-barrel carburetor is
fueled by an Edelbrock performer series mechanical fuel pump
sitting on an Edelbrock 302 performance intake. It also features
MSD electronic ignition, accompanied by a set of Ford Racing wires,
Be Cool polished aluminum radiator, flex fan and Ford Racing water
pump. A March serpentine pulley system ties it all together.
Further cooling and lubrication of the engine are done with a Ford
Racing oil pump and a Canton Racing oil pick up and oil pan. The
stock 3-speed manual transmission is bolted to a Dana 20 transfer
case with a Hurst shifter, and sends power to the Ford 9" rear end
complemented by a Dana 44 in the front end. Tuff Country leaf
springs, and coils from Wild Horses, make up the 4" lift that
clears the Goodyear Duratrac tires and the Proline wheels and
Rancho shocks finish it off. All of the electrical is new,
including a Centek wiring harness, halogen headlights, and
1966-style turn signal and taillights, and is powered by a Tuff
Country 100 amp alternator. The underside of the Bronco has been
meticulously worked over and sheeted in brushed aluminum diamond
plate and the chassis differentials and other components have been
coated in POR-15. The black on black interior is balanced with
Billet window cranks, brushed aluminum, chrome and Kona Blue paint
and features an Ididit tilt steering column, stunning Billet
Specialties steering wheel, a set of AutoMeter gauges, a leather
French-stitched dash pad, and Billet nobs. The seats are leather
and cloth inlayed with emblems from a 1986 Bronco II and the carpet
is a beautiful graphite color trimmed in in brushed aluminum. The
amazing sound system, which lights up with blue LED lights,
features a floor mounted 700w Kicker amp, encased under acrylic
glass, Kicker mid and high-range speakers with custom crossovers
under the rumble seat, and three 10" subwoofers.
