For Sale: 1966 Chevrolet Caprice in Brooklyn, New York

Vehicle Description

Restomod - 350 cu Chevy with Edelbrock vac-adv 650cfm Carb with performer manifold, hedman street headers and custom stainless exhaust with flowmaster muffflers- car sounds amazing for a mild small block. starts up and idles great burns a little oil but very reliable and fun to drive.

Vintage A/C blows cold - one piece billet aluminum bracket for serpentine belt system, chrome a/c compressor.

The only mechanical part not repalced is the steering box, it has a lot slack and super easy to turn the wheel. it can be replaced for a few bucks but i like the feel of the old one. 

Brand New T700 r4. W/ overdrive less than 100 miles. New rebuilt rear with 4:11 gears. Oversized axles- tranny and rear rated to 700hp.

Ride Tech Air ride suspension with 3 gallon Air pod compressor with all new TUBULAR control arms front and back, sway bars and tranction bar-Adjustable suspension raises and lowers the car 5 inches, digital control panel in center console controls each wheel independently with 3 programmable buttons for favorite settings,new bushings all around. the car handles amazing, feels tight around corners with no body roll. if the steering box is replaced it can be driven on road races. seriously good handling for a car this size. 

Custom Boyd coddington 17in rims. Five star that mimic cast aluminum center with polished rings. Continental tires have less than 2000 miles on them.

Restoration was done about 6 years ago. Bonnati grey Range Rover color. New vinyl top. All original stainless trim work in great cond. original grill and headlamp surrounds, original tail lights. new chrome bumpers ( i have the original ones) new window gaskets.lights and blinkers work fine.

New windshield and rear glass, door glass and vent window is original and great condition.

Interior restored - new springs and foam on all seats- leather trim and real alcantara seating surface 100% mint. seats were stiched in the same pattern as orginal design with buttons and piping new carpet and mats, new period correct headliner and visors. door panels have original design but have covered in combinationof alcantara and vinyl. door handles and window crancks are mint. 

Original center console with 4 working gauges. Original dash gauges- gas gauge and clock dont work  Speedo is accurate. New dash top cover-,new rear view and driver side chrome mirror need some polishing. i have a pssenger side mirror but never installed it. new seat belts in the front original in the back. Retro style modern radio with ipod dock and aux input. 

During restoration all interior metal surfaces were repaired or replaced as needed, floor boards, new truck pan etc, all painted and all interior cabin areas sound proofed with DynaMat Extreme including the underside of the roof.

This car is pleasure to drive and big head turner, runs and sounds great, handles like a modern car, some TLC and can be a real show car
