For sale a 1956 short bed Chevrolet Truck. Truck original motor was removed and had a 350 motor with a 700 automatic transmission installed. The original motor had 44,333 miles and this 350 motor has less than 5 thousand miles since it was installed. I only drive the truck to car shows and on Sundays drives around town, for it has vintage plates. Runs great with no mechanical issues and receives a lot of attention on the streets and during car shows. It has new upholstery, 5 new tires, everything shiny has been re-chromed, new wood for short bed, power brakes, new dome light, 12V, new electric wiper motor, new shocks and new AM/FM radio with auxiliary cable to connect to your phone/iPod. Original gauges and heater are operational. Overall a great and fun street ride. I have a clear Texas tittle under my name.
Paint(Orange Rock) looks good, but has flaws since the restoration and paint job was completed by an amateur. Paint job and restoration was completed by previous owner. Some of the photos are blurry because of the sun, so I am downloading all photos I have so you can get a better look, along with video of truck running. Original speedometer is not operational, so it needs an aftermarket speedometer. No power steering, but handles as if it had power steering. Stock suspension.Truck is sold AS IS.
