Vintage looks, modern features! Only 300 miles since frame off
restoration as a driver. Full of very desirable upgrades to make
this drive and function much better then an original. Just rebuilt
302 motor bored .40 over. Has Comp cam and lifters, new Edelbrock
carb with electric choke and HEI electronic ignition. Fresh rebuilt
C-4 3-speed auto trans. Aluminum radiator and electric fan keeps it
cool. New in dash Vintage Air system keeps passengers cool.
Upgraded power steering and front disc brakes with dual master. New
electric wiper conversion. Many new parts- complete wiring harness,
exhaust, tires, front springs, brake and fuel lines, fuel tank and
more. We have pictures of the car taken down to a bare shell of a
body and a frame. Completely repainted original Colonial white. All
the exterior chrome and trim is new- bumpers have a mirror finish,
stainless moldings are polished like chrome, the emblems, side
louvers, hood scoop grill, mirrors, door handles, taillights are
all new. Restored nostalgic "porthole" hardtop. Very desirable and
valuable original convertible framework with new rubber and good
top. Interior is completely restored with a complete interior kit.
It has the correct upholstery with the T-bird logo embossed in the
middle, new carpet with reproduction floor mats, new door panels,
dash pad, new turned metal trim. A huge upgrade would be the tilt
steering column and smaller steering wheel actually allows people
to fit in the car, which is a real problem with the original.
There's also upgraded gauges, a remote control CD stereo and seat
belts. Motor compartment is beautifully dressed up. Has great set
of ribbed valve covers and air cleaner, polished compressor and
chromed master. Trunk has new mat, a spare and jack. Underneath has
bed undercoated. Not a concourse restoration, but restored to show
very well. Built to drive extremely well! More reliable, easier to
maintain and much more user friendly!
