Vehicle Description
This Thunderbird has a very straight and solid convertible body
with a Roadster package. This particular convertible top
operational package was introduced in 1957 on the Ford Skyliner.
The basic design was then used on certain Ford cars as well as
Lincoln Continental Convertibles for the next ten years. It remains
in correct operational condition on this beautiful Thunderbird. The
O.E.M. 390ci engine, date coded Aug 22, 1964, had a complete
overhaul in the summer of 2017, with several performance up-grades.
A complete new brake system was also installed with an upgrade to
power front discs. It comes with 67 pages in receipts totaling
approximately $9,000 for engine and brake parts alone, not
considering the labor. It has a Cruise-O-Matic transmission, power
steering, power windows, and Kelsey wire wheels. Everything is
correct down to the Sequential turn Signals. It wears its factory
correct, born-with J-code Rangoon Red paint, and a rear luggage
rack and Continental kit round out the package.
