Corona! VIN: RT5226342 Engine: 3R657783 PLEASE SEE VIDEO
ACCOMPANYING THE LISTING Exterior: - Wears a respray in a light
teal/turquoise color. Color is just gorgeous, particularly against
the grey Datsun Z wheels. One of the best car/wheel combos we've
seen in a long time. There is evidence in the trunk and underside
of the hood of a past paintjob in red. Teal paint shows very, very
well. There are a number of small chips that have been touched up
with color-matched paint, but they are only visible upon close
inspection. Please take a look at the video that accompanies the
listing, as it shows close-ups of every blemish. - There are a few
light dings on the hood, which are PDR'able. There's another small
ding at the passenger rear corner of the car. - There is a small
bubble in the paint at the forward corner of the driver's door, as
well as at the very bottom rear corner just behind the rear wheels.
- Chrome is in great shape throughout - Weatherstripping is in good
shape - Wheels are in great shape. Very minor chipping. - Tiny nick
in the windshield - Cooper tires are in great condition. At least
80% tread remaining, no dry rot or damage. Interior: - Seats are
excellent. There's a 0.5" puncture on the driver's outer seat
bottom. Rear seats show no wear. - Door panels are in great shape.
No kicked-open markings. - Gauges are all functional - Blower is
functional, as are all lights, signals, and the windshield wiper. -
Radio is not functional - Driver's side rear window only rolls down
halfway - Headliner is nice and tight. A little dirty in the rear
corners but in good shape. - Needs a dash pad. Currently just the
metal dash top. Not cracked! Ha. - Odometer reads 64,670. We're
unsure if accurate or not. Under the Hood / Underbody: - 3R-code
1.9L Straight 4. Engine number (3R657783) is correct for a 68
Corona, so it's likely original. 90 horsepower, 105 lb-ft. - Car is
a blast to drive. Very nimble and maneuverable. By no means fast,
but sounds great. - Runs very well. Starts right up, idles cool and
steady, and accelerates through the gears with no hesitation.
Automatic "Toyoglide" transmission shifts smoothly and the car
tracks nice and straight. We currently have the car in for a brake
service, as the pedal was pretty mushy when we took it out and
filmed the video you see along with the listing. I will update the
listing with further mechanical details once our mechanics have
finished their comprehensive going-through and road test. Overall,
this is a seriously cool, fun-to-drive car that can be had on a
modest budget. For more information or to discuss purchasing,
