Vehicle Description
This stunning unibody has made the transformation from an
original-owner, rust-free workhorse to the 2016 Goodguys Truck of
the Year that it is today. Featured on the cover of the August 2017
issue of Street Trucks magazine, this truck proudly displays the
many unique modifications that deemed it worthy of this prestigious
honor. The build started at Porterbuilt Fabrication, where the
stock frame was customized using Level 3 front and rear Dropmembers
to allow the truck to lay body using a complete AccuAir E-Level
suspension system with a touchpad and WiFi receiver. A new
custom-painted Ford Racing 5.0-liter Coyote crate engine, 4R70W
automatic transmission from Gearstar, ceramic-coated MagnaFlow
exhaust, custom-built stainless-steel fuel tank, and a 9" Ford rear
complete the rolling chassis. Jason Graham Hot Rods continued on
the build, where they chopped the top 2", removed the drip rails,
smoothed the bumpers and custom fabricated a one-off tailgate. The
laser-straight body was then covered in a custom-mixed PPG Mahogany
Pearl. To complement the color, 22" Schott Modsport wheels with
bronze ceramic-painted accents and Yokohama Parada tires were added
to complete the design. The truck also features all modern power
accessories, including power rack & pinion steering, power windows
with one-piece custom glass, and power brakes with CPP vented
rotors and a Wilwood master cylinder. For the interior, John Miller
completely covered the cab in Relicate leather and stainless-steel
trim, including the custom center console, dash and headliner.
Flawless execution on a clean and simple design earned a Best Truck
Interior award at the Detroit Autorama. A full Rockford
Fosgate/Kenwood Excelon audio system, Ididit tilt steering column
and Old Air Products air conditioning keep the ride comfortable.
With less than 300 miles and only shown five times, this truck is
ready to be driven, shown and enjoyed!
