For Sale at Auction: 1966 Chevrolet Nova SS in Scottsdale, Arizona

A 1966 Chevrolet Nova Super Sport that has undergone a complete professional, full frame-off, nut-and-bolt, rotisserie restoration. This beauty includes the correct 3791362 casting (Nova only) 327ci engine, which has been upgraded to L79 327/350hp specifications, including the correct 3890490 intake and chrome appearance package. The power plant is backed up by the ever-popular 4L60 4-speed automatic transmission and factory 3.36:1 ratio rear differential. The rare color combination of Chateau Slate Silver with correct black bucket seat interior is stunning and features all-new glass, chrome and polished stainless trim. The restoration started on a one-owner, 33,000-mile canvas (mileage not indicated on the title) that had been parked since 1982. The original 327ci engine was completely rebuilt; the 4L60 transmission also had a complete rebuild, as did the rear differential. The restoration also included new paint, new interior, a rebuild of the factory power steering and air conditioning, new weatherstripping, all-new glass, new power windows, new wiring harnesses, new fuel lines, new brake lines, new suspension bushings in the front and rear, and new chrome. A cowl induction hood (original restored hood included), 4-wheel power disc brakes and a tilt steering column were also added during the restoration. It also has a four-row aluminum radiator with dual electric cooling fans and rides on Firestone wide oval red line tires wrapped around factory 14" Chevrolet Rally wheels with correct 1966 Nova Super Sport hubcaps currently residing in the trunk. The car has only been driven 6 miles since the completion of the restoration, and it comes with extensive photo documentation of the rotisserie restoration and a library of receipts.
