Cruisin Classics has a 1969 Chevrolet Nova SS Tribute to add to the Showroom and soon...your driveway. This is a very beautiful muscle car with the looks and the power under the hood to turn many heads. The first thing you notice is the Black paint. It is almost mirror like as you stare at it. The sides are straight and as most know, if you are going to paint it black, it better be. Staying with the exterior, the bright-work is fantastic. The SS emblems, badges and SS hood are very evident and really give this '69 quite an eyeball. The tires (BF Goodrich Radial GT 215/70-14) are nice and beefy and look great wrapped around the 5-spoke, dark-gray center colored, aluminum wheels. The engine is a 396 (casting# 3955272 built in 1969). There are many high end components to this engine including a GM, aluminum intake manifold, Holley 4bbl carburetor, Accell High Temp Super Stock wires, Air Conditioning, power steering, power brakes (disc fronts), chrome valve covers and chrome breather cover. Matched with the great running and sounding (dual exhaust) engine is a Manual 4-speed transmission. A Hurst shifter (rubber cased with chrome plate edging) on the floor is in perfect placement for quick, accurate movement. After a short test drive, we were all astonished of the ease of shifting (clutch included) and the ease of the entire drive train workings. Also after that drive, we were all in the same camp that this car is ready for the road TODAY!The cars interior is in tune with the rest of the car as far as quality goes. Carpet, bench seats, aftermarket Moon Equipped gauges (tachometer, oil pressure, water temperature and voltage) all are in tip-top shape, some new, all working and ready for a drive. We also have the protect-o-plate, original window sticker to show it's authenticity and other documents. To sum up...this is a fantastic muscle car that will be a winner at the show and a winner to drive for many years. The enjoyment of driving this is quite an experience that must be shared. It's your turn at the wheel so give us a call to get this beauty with a 396 in your driveway. If you have any additional questions, please call one of our friendly sales staff. Classic Industries adds the GM-licensed trunk-lid logos to its restoration-parts offerings
Restoration parts and accessories company Classic Industries unveiled its new OER reproduction grilles for 1976-78 Nova models at the SEMA show in Vegas this past week.
From Rose to Champagne, various gold tones have become a popular choice for our phones, our jewelry, and our cars’ paint.
Offered at the 46th annual Scottsdale Barrett-Jackson auction, this Yenko Deuce Nova comes fully documented as car “HYS141” and is one of 175 produced.
Drag racing has long been the subject of controversy and debate fueled by individual perspective.
The Chevrolet Chevy II, commonly recognized as the Nova, was purpose-built to give buyers a simple, back-to-the-basics compact car.
In hindsight, 1969 was one of the best design years for many American cars, such as Mustang, Camaro, Chevelle, Corvette and ‘Cuda.
How far has automotive technology come in the last 50 years? Consider that if you bought a Chevrolet Nova SS in 1967, it was equipped with a 275-horsepower, 5.3-liter V8 engine.
