Gateway Classic Cars welcomes this unique addition to its
Philadelphia showroom, a 1979 Corvette Caballista! You've probably
never heard of this custom vehicle, but if you have then you are
familiar with Les Dunham, custom car maker extraordinaire! Dunham
is best known for his Corvorado, a melded Corvette with Cadillac
styling cues featured in the Bond classic, Live and Let Die.
Between 1977 and 1982, Dunham's exceptional creativity saw the
creation of the Caballista, a true testament to the conjunction of
Cadillac and Corvette. Out of the 51 purportedly made, four were
built with four-speed manual transmission...this is one of them!
This 1979 Caballista wears sharp black and silver paint that
conveys both sport and elegance. Open the doors to reveal a black
Corvette interior that comfortably sits you and a friend! Powering
this fabulous "brass and glass" machine is a 350 CID V8 that is
still as peppy as ever! You'll be the talk of the show when you
cruise up in this one-of-one vehicle that turns heads wherever it
goes! Give us a call today to take home this exclusive piece of
automotive art! Additional features include Power Brakes, Power
Windows, Heat, Air Conditioning and Power Steering, AM/FM Radio
with Cassette and T-Tops. To view this 1979 Corvette Caballista in
