Vehicle Description
This San Jose 428 Mach 1 Cobra Jet is a ground-up, nut-and-bolt
rotisserie restoration and Grand National Champion. The black
exterior paint was completed by Concours Restoration, and the
restoration and detail work was completed by Mustang guru and MCA
judge Bob Perkins. It is powered by a 428ci Cobra Jet engine and
3-speed automatic transmission. Options on this award-winning car
include a Ram Air Shaker, select-shift transmission, F70 tires,
Visibility Group, sport deck rear seat, console, power steering,
power disc brakes, tilt-away steering wheel, select air
conditioning, AM radio with 8-track player, tinted glass and deluxe
belts with warning light. This car has won many First Place and
Best of Show awards and was a display car at the Ford Invitational
at Carlisle. It was a record-scoring First Place winner at Grand
National MCA, and First Place winner at the AACA Grand National,
Autorama and Street Cars of Desire. It was also voted one of the
top 10 restored muscle cars by Muscle Car Review. This Mach 1 has
graced many magazines, including Muscle Car Review, Mustangs and
Fords, Mustang Enthusiast, Mustang Times, and Muscle Fords and
Mustangs. This Mach 1 is one of the highest-scoring and
award-winning Mach 1s.
