Vehicle Description
This authentic Daytona 2002 Pontiac Trans Am pace car was driven
and signed by Jay Leno at the race. Tony Stewart also signed the
car. All decals and signatures are still intact from the race. This
is car number one of two cars at the track. It has been stored in a
dry museum environment and comes with all books and documents to
show authenticity. Jim Mattison, of Pontiac Historical Services,
was present during this promotion and witnessed Jay Leno and Tony
Stewart signing the air box. It is powered by a 5.7-liter LS1 V8
engine backed by a 3-speed automatic transmission and has 9,303
actual miles (the title reads mileage exempt). This pace car has
only been titled to one owner and is a true piece of automotive
history. THIS IS A HISTORICAL VEHICLE. NEITHER GM NOR
