Vehicle Description
This matching-numbers Boss 429 has been professionally restored to
exact factory specifications, making it true to the day it rolled
off the dealer's lot. Every part, piece, wire, bulb, nut and bolt
has been meticulously restored on this car. The body was stripped,
dipped, and e-coated before it received a world-class Wimbledon
White paint job. The gaps and panel fitment are superior. The
undercarriage is fully detailed and looks as good as the topside.
The hood, deck lid and doors open and close effortlessly. All
brightwork was professionally restored and polished. Only the best
went into this restoration, including new exhaust, SEMO parts, ECS
glass and decals, fully restored Tachman gauges, clock and cluster.
The carburetor, suspension and rear end were all professionally
rebuilt. Factory-rolled fenders and quarters made room for the
wider tires and KKX spindles that every Boss 429 received. One
upgrade invisible to the eye but worth noting is the use of TM
Enterprises heads. These heads mirror factory heads in every way
externally, but flow significantly better and were created with
extremely strong aluminum far superior to originals, and, best of
all, use a head gasket instead of the original O-ring design. Full
documentation includes a Marti Report, Eminger letter, original
factory invoices, original Window Sticker, owner's card, Boss 429
newsletters, Kar-Kraft book, photos and Boss 429 registry under the
same owner for the last 17 years. Only 857 Boss 429 Mustangs were
made by Ford in 1969, of which less than half are known to exist,
and original drivelines are even more scarce. Powered by the
original 429ci engine and 4-speed manual transmission, this Boss
429 has it all.
