Vehicle Description
The recently completed restoration on this custom Corvette includes
an all-original and laser-straight 1954 body with great gaps. It is
powered by a new GM Performance 6.2-liter LS3 engine and new 4L65E
4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive. It has a GM wiring
harness and computer and Be Cool all-aluminum polished radiator
with an electric fan. The body-off restoration included the
original frame modified with a Jim Meyers front coilover
suspension, including power rack & pinion steering with power disc
brakes all around. The beautiful red PPG paint is 2015 Corvette
Crystal Red Tri-Coat with addition pearl added. Some of the
suspension parts are painted to match the exterior and accent the
completely refinished frame painted in PPG Corvette Doe Skin Beige.
The Al Knoch custom beige leather interior has adjustable and
reclining seats, and is accented with red ostrich leather. The
matching Doeskin Beige dash has Dakota Digital gauges with beige
lighting. A new radio allows for CD and iPod connectivity. It has a
new soft-top and a powder-coated frame with matching Stayfast
material. The trunk is fully covered and finished in matching beige
and red ostrich, and the chrome Z06-style wheels give it a great,
smooth ride. This custom 'Vette is built to drive.
