Vehicle Description
This custom Corvette was initially built in a 48-hour time frame in
front of many thousands of website viewers. The project started
with a 68,000-actual-mile Arizona Corvette. Since the initial
build, the car has been continuously refined - having accumulated
dozens of race victories, design and engineering awards and
top-five finishes. It won the 2017 Optima Ultimate Street Car
Challenge in Bowling Green as well as the Goodguys Autocross
National Series Championship for 2017. Completely street-legal,
this Pro-Touring Corvette features a custom-built Lingenfelter
649hp 427ci LS7 dry sump engine with forged internals and titanium
valves. Engine and drivetrain specifications include Holley EFI,
C&R radiator, Tremec T56 Magnum 6-speed manual transmission
with overdrive, Quartermaster triple disc clutch and Currie 9" IRS
rear end. The complete RideTech Track 1 suspension system includes
billet aluminum spindles, tubular StrongArm control arms and
high-tech Instinct electronic adaptive shock absorbers with
electronic traction control. Like modern supercars, the electronic
shocks self-adjust to changing dynamics, including soft dampening
for comfortable street driving and firm dampening for
high-performance driving. Additional specifications include massive
Wilwood disc brakes with 6-piston forged calipers, Vintage Air,
custom Classic Instruments gauges, a Kicker stereo, BFGoodrich
Rival tires and Forgeline wheels. The screaming yellow paint is
accented by custom flares, custom LED and projector headlights,
custom-fabricated rear spoiler, front spoiler, gas fill trim, side
vents and C7 Corvette Z06-style hood vents. The 48-Hour Corvette
has just been freshly repainted and serviced. The car is selling
with minimal decals installed for a more street-friendly
appearance; however, a fresh set of race livery decals from the
2017 season are included with the sale to preserve the car's
winning history.
