Vehicle Description
The Pininfarina-styled 308 GTB was introduced at the Paris Motor
Show in 1975 as a supplement to the Bertone-shaped Dino 308 GT4 and
a replacement for the Dino 246. It was designed by Leonardo
Fioravanti, who had been responsible for some of Ferrari's most
celebrated shapes to date, such as the Daytona, the Dino and the
Berlinetta Boxer. The 308 used elements of these shapes to create
something very much in contrast to the angular GT4 2+2. The GTB/GTS
was a 2-seater with sweeping curves and aggressive lines, and has
become one of the most recognizable and iconic cars produced by
Ferrari to date. This Ferrari 308 GTBi has been family-owned for
over 30 years; the family is the second owner. Finished in
immaculate Nero paintwork with beautiful black leather interior and
Nero carpets, the car presents beautifully particularly with its
Italian wool headliner. This auto is an extremely rare original
with under 1,800 original miles, supported by a documented service
history that includes a recent major service, including timing
belts. It's equipped with a 2.9-liter engine and 5-speed manual
transmission. With factory-fitted air conditioning and still
retaining its rare and desirable jack kit, tools and books, this
fantastic Ferrari 308 is ready to use and enjoy. CARFAX shows a
mileage inconsistency on 09/17/2009.
