Vehicle Description
Professionally done, exquisite concours-style rotisserie
restoration of a factory produced 1970 Oldsmobile 442 convertible.
It is powered by its matching-numbers 455/365hp V8 and Turbo 400
automatic transmission backed to a 12-bolt 3.23 posi-traction rear
axle with a W27 aluminum differential cover. It is finished in its
original, special-order, factory color of Aegean Aqua with and
ivory interior and white top. Loaded with factory options,
including W25 air-induction hood, factory air conditioning, power
steering, power top, power windows, power disc brakes, sport
steering wheel, bucket seats with console, dual-gate shifter, SSI
wheels with correct Goodyear Polyglas raised-white-letter tires,
sport mirrors, AM/FM radio, factory gauge package and F41
heavy-duty suspension. The attention to detail is noticeable, from
the T-3 headlamps, correct stamped hoses and tower clamps to the
factory decals and correct overspray on the highly detailed
underside. Photo documentation of the restoration accompanies the
vehicle, and with a fresh detail from top to bottom, this 442
convertible is ready to go. It has 162 miles since the complete
restoration and is one of 2,933 ever produced.
