Vehicle Description
This 1963 Crown Imperial is one of 531 Chrysler Imperial Crown
convertibles built for entire model year production, which was the
final year for designer Virgil Exner's fin body style. It is
powered by its original, date coded 413ci big-block V8 engine and
original 3-speed automatic TorqueFlite transmission. This original
Florida car was purchased from a longtime owner in 1998 and was the
recipient of a complete, ground-up, nut-and-bolt restoration over a
two-year period to a high standard of accuracy, finish and
mechanical excellence. It has been driven 10,682 miles since the
completion of the restoration. In addition to power steering,
brakes and windows, the car has rare factory-optional air
conditioning. The authentic OEM factory wire wheels pop with retro
beauty. This rare production car is registered with Imperial
Owner's Club International.
