Vehicle Description
This is one of 2,385 1969 Ford Ranchero GTs built for entire
worldwide production and one of 11 originally built with a 428ci 4V
Super Cobra Jet engine. It is also one of two originally built in
Wimbledon White. This example has 76,650 original miles (title
reads mileage exempt). OEM factory parts were used wherever
possible and obtained through Dearborn Classics. A recipient of a
complete ground-up restoration in 2005, it's been driven 528 miles
since restoration. An Elite Marti Report is included, as is a copy
of the original dealer invoice. One of one, this is the only
Wimbledon White Ranchero GT ordered with a 428ci Super Cobra Jet
engine and bucket seats. It was built in the Kansas City factory on
November 27, 1968, and also has an automatic C6 Cruise-O-Matic
transmission. This Ranchero also had an optional 3.91 Traction-Lok
differential. It is beautifully finished in its original Wimbledon
White paint color, with Light Nugget Gold vinyl interior. It is
equipped with the trademark Cobra Jet Ram Air hood scoop, power
brakes with front discs and Firestone wide oval tires with raised
white letters on GT. A tach and factory-correct center console
complete the interior.
