Vehicle Description
This 1947 Lincoln Continental Cabriolet has been beautifully and
correctly restored by a Lincoln enthusiast. This award winning
vehicle has taken home the 1999 CCCA Premier Trophy with 100 of 100
possible points, 1997 CCCA Senior Trophy with 99.5 out of 100
possible points, and 1983 CCCA First Place. It has also won Lincoln
Continental Owner's Club trophies including National Emeritus
Trophies in 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, and 2004; 1999 LCOC Best of
Show Senior Division, 39-48 Continental; 1998 LCOC Best of Show
Senior Division, E.T. Gregoire Award; 1997 LCOC Elliston H. Bell
Founder's Award, and more trophies dating back to 1983. This car
was properly restored and then periodically refreshed so it would
continue to win awards. When not being shown it was toured, and
stored in a specifically outfitted climate controlled garage. It is
beautifully finished in Lincoln Maroon with matching maroon leather
interior, smooth and supple and properly done. The chrome plating
is gorgeous, and the translucent maroon plastic interior trim,
steering wheel, and shifter knob are especially beautiful. Restored
factory tools are also included. It is factory equipped with a V12
engine, 3-speed manual transmission with factory overdrive, power
top and power windows, radio, fog lights, black top, Firestone
whitewall tires, and side mirror. An especially important option is
the factory installed Warner overdrive. It matches the Build Sheet
in all respects except for the change from tan to maroon. The Build
Sheet from the Henry Ford Museum shows the options and the delivery
of the new car to Enterprise Studios in Los Angeles, California.
All trophies are included with the car.
