Vehicle Description
This car was produced in the Newport Pagnell factory in
Buckinghamshire, England and hand-built specifically for and
displayed by the factory at the 2002 Los Angeles Auto Show as
documented by special plaques on each door sill. This 2002 Aston
Martin Vantage Volante convertible includes a Window Sticker
showing a retail price of over $170,000 when new. Its clean lines,
low grille, and integral head and fog lights present a very
distinctive appearance. Push a button on the dashboard to start the
powerful, yet smooth 6.0-liter V12 engine that generates 420hp and
400 ft/lbs of torque. The ZF transmission permits selection of
automatic or individual gear ratios using the floor lever or a
Touchtronic push-button control system on the steering wheel.
Traction control and anti-lock brakes are standard. One-off
magnesium wheels were expressly added by the factory for the L.A.
Car Show to set off the car's beauty and sportiness. A factory
premium Alpine stereo system with CD changer is installed in this
example. This striking Aston Martin has less than 35,000 actual
miles (the title reads mileage exempt). The car has been
meticulously maintained and stored with great care by the previous
owners. Front brake pads and rotors were replaced at 30,000 miles.
All maintenance and service records are included.
