Vehicle Description
This 1968 Porsche 912/6 Monte Carlo Rally Tribute was originally a
4-cylinder, it now runs a 2.7-liter motor out of a CIS-equipped
1975 911 and features a number of upgrades. The engine is mated to
a 902 4-speed manual transmission. The refinished interior includes
newly covered seats, refurbished door panels, and a complete RS
lightweight carpet installation. A 4-point roll bar was installed
along with a Momo Prototype steering wheel. Reproduction Cibie
rally lights, 911 Lietz Style Reproduction Stainless Steel Roof
Rack, RennLine pedals and kick panels were added to complete the
race inspired finish. The dash is original and all gauges work
except for the clock. A custom shifter extension was added to the
short shift kit. The suspension was redone adding new Bilstein HD's
all the way around. The car was corner balanced at a Porsche race
shop and aligned after it was lowered. The brakes were redone less
than 200 miles ago including new pads and rotors and refreshed
calipers. Upgraded with 100mm race studs. Approximately 3000 miles
since the build was completed (mileage not indicated on the title).
