Vehicle Description
Ford halted its car and truck lines on February 10, 1942, to begin
war production. Civilian production resumed in July 1945, with an
early start to the 1946 model year filling the public's thirst for
new cars and trucks. This fine example is still powered by the Ford
Flathead V8, producing 100hp mated to a 3 speed manual, on the
floor. The Pickup has undergone a very nice restoration at some
point and shows extremely well. The Green and Black paint with
Yellow accents is in beautiful condition and shines extremely well.
The engine bay, block and components were all re-painted during the
restoration too. The interior was re-covered in black vinyl on the
bench and door panels, black carpet and the dash sprayed in the
same Green as the exterior. The truck starts right up, drives great
and shifts very nicely. This was a very high end restoration when
it was completed and it either was recent or extremely well taken
care of afterwards. A great truck for the money! Come see for
yourself. Bed Rails
