Very stylish car. The colors are fantastic, body lines and
curvatures front and back are unique. The exterior has been
completely repainted a smooth black finish. I'm looking down the
sides of the car, it's straight. Bumpers have been rechromed,
stainless is nice. The brushed aluminium side trim is typically
beat up, this is a good 7 out of 10. Has T-3 headlights. The
interior has been completely reupholstered in a leather like
material. Recarpeted and heal pads were reinstalled. Dash area is
very nice, console does he have a few nicks and scratches. Black
convertible top looks new. Weather strips around the top and doors
have been replaced. Clean trunk is completely carpeted, has jack
and spare. Motor compartment is cleaned and painted. The underside
metal is dry as a chalk board! What makes a Starfire special- It's
a performance luxury car and Oldsmobile's most expensive model in
1961. It had a smaller wheelbase then the 98 and under the hood was
the "Ultra High Compression" 394 motor. The interior had sporty
bucket seats with floor shift console and a tachometer. It also
featured higher end trim level and power accessories. Gentleman's
muscle car!
