For Sale at Auction: 1937 Ford 5-Window Coupe in Scottsdale, Arizona
Lot #1027 - A show-quality 1937 Ford OZE 5-window street rod with
showstopping paint, body and interior. The PPG base coat and clear
coat is Sunlit Sand over Millennium Jade, separated by custom
airbrushed graphics throughout the entire car. Inside is a
beautifully designed soft dark brown leather interior and
headliner, as well as a custom hand-built center console with
sliding cover that holds the ignition switch and other power
switches for the windows, hood and trunk. Also in the console is a
6.5" Diamond Elite two-way audio system with amplifiers and
two-channel converter with AccuBass. This street rod is powered by
a Chevrolet 350ci crate engine mated to a new Turbo 350 automatic
transmission with shift kit. Other under-the-hood features include
a Derale performance frame rail transmission cooler, aluminum
radiator with electric fan, custom hoses, polished Billet pulleys,
and polished aluminum valve covers. The car features a
professionally built, fully painted chassis with rack & pinion
steering, painted tubular A-arms and drop spindles. Popular options
featured in the car include a Ford 9" rear end with 3.55 gear
ratio, 4-link coilover rear suspension, Wilwood dual-piston 4-wheel
power disc brakes, and custom stainless-steel mandrel-bent
TIG-welded exhaust system. Interior options include a chrome Ididit
tilt steering column with Billet Specialties half-wrapped steering
wheel, a full set of Classic Instruments gauges in the dash,
Vintage Air and heat with defrost and ice-cold air conditioning,
Lokar performance linkage and Billet Specialties pedal assembly.
The car also sports a polished stainless-steel grille, factory 1937
headlights, Hagan Street Rod LED taillights, and rides on chrome
Ridler wheels with Toyo tires. With all-new components and only 100
test miles (mileage not indicated on the title), this car runs and
drives as beautiful as it looks.
