For Sale at Auction: 1934 Chrysler Airflow in Scottsdale, Arizona
Lot #1004 - This 1934 Chrysler Airflow is powered by its restored,
original 323ci Straight-8 engine and 3-speed manual transmission
with overdrive. This relatively rare car comes with complete
ownership history from new, as well as its Build Sheet from
Chrysler Corporation dated May 19, 1934. Under its current
ownership many parts have undergone restoration, including wiper
motors, arms and blades, as well as headlights, water pump,
radiator, all wheel bearings, front and rear brake shoes and drums,
wheel cylinders and hubcaps. Almost all interior chrome and some
exterior has been restored, along with the door panels and window
regulators, gas tank, fuel pump, and starter and charging system.
It rides on four new bias-ply tires and includes an additional as a
spare. This car drives beautifully and represents an outstanding
example of art deco design.
