Vehicle Description
This 1974 Firebird has been completely restored on the rotisserie
into the custom Pro-Touring car it is today. Has 537ci Dart block
engine and Dart Pro 1 aluminum heads with a Tremec Magnum 6-speed
manual transmission. It also has one-off custom stainless headers
and exhaust. The front suspension is made up of a complete Detroit
Speed subframe and suspension, with adjustable coilover shocks. The
9” Moser rear end with 3:89 gears also has a complete Detroit Speed
Quadralink suspension with adjustable coilover shocks. It rides on
Billet Specialties wheels with BFGoodrich tires and big Baer disc
brakes all around. Inside, the custom dash comes with all new
Autometer carbon-fiber gauges, a Kenwood stereo system with Focal
speakers in the front and rear, a Shutt billet aluminum steering
wheel, billet foot petals, and air conditioning and heat provided
by Vintage Air. The Cuerillo front seats and the rear seat are
wrapped in black Ultraleather. The one-off handmade console and
door panels are also stitched up in black Ultraleather with a touch
of red velour on the doors and black carpet on the floor. It also
features a complete roll cage that extends all the way to the front
and rear of the car. The body has had the door handles shaved and
the marker lights smoothed out, door and trunk poppers with custom
electric mirror adjusters fabricated into the stock mirrors, and
Billet aluminum hood and trunk hinges. It has been painted with PPG
black all over with a light Watermelon Red on the cowl hood scoop
and five coats of clear. An attention-getter, this Firebird has won
multiple awards from Goodguys, Early Iron Top 15 pick, a finalist
at Hot August Nights Cruise of Champions in 2014 and many other
local awards. Since completion the car has been driven 360 test
miles (mileage not indicated on the title) and always trailered to
other events.
