Austin Healey 3000 MKII Convertible is a classic example of an
Austin-Healey 3000 is finished in it's original Colorado Red finish
and fitted with a complete black leather seating surfaces, door
panels and dash trim are also finished in black with black carpet
for covering the floor. Stashed neatly in the boot is the black
folding top reproduced in the exact same grain as the original with
the plastic windows showing clean and clear. Under the hood, and
that legendary in-line 6 gleams and those SU carburetors feed
plenty of fuel to the engine keeping alive and well. The 4 speed
Manual Transmission has Overdrive, Hydraulic Front Disc Brakes and
Rear Drum Brakes. With gleaming chrome wire wheels sparkling in the
sunlight and the chassis has been detailed and is ready to roll.
While the early history of this car has been lost, it is believed
to have been delivered new in the USA and while very authentic in
detail , this car is not a trailer queen. What a wonderful chariot

drive.�The 3000 sports convertible Mark II was launched at the end
of August 1962. It was a true convertible with almost saloon car
comfort, a new wrap-around windscreen, wind-up side windows,
swivelling quarter lights and a quick-action folding roof. Twin SU
HS6 carburettors replaced the triple SUs. Austin-Healey claimed it
could exceed 115mph.91.5 per cent of all 1963 Austin Healey 3000
cars were exported mostly to North America.11,564 Mark IIs were
made: 355 BN7 open two-seaters, 5,096 BT7 2+2s, and 6,113 BJ7 2+2
