Descended from greatness, this 1973 Plymouth Road Runner means
affordable muscle, complete with V8 power and a gorgeous frame on
restoration. Wearing new sheet metal for 1973, the Road Runner took
on a more rectangular look that seems more aggressive when compared
to its earlier siblings. Mopar was still in the performance
business, selling the car complete with a racy domed hood with faux
intake nostrils, a full stripe package and hood pins There's also
quite a bit of chrome, most notably the big front and rear bumpers,
and it all looks fantastic today. The interior will be familiar to
anyone who loves Mopar, a two tone bench seat with factory
PISTOL-GRIP 4 speed and a dash full of round gauges. The
pillow-tufted seats have a high-class look that belied the car's
price in 1973 and today offers a retro look at what was cool 40
years ago and cool today. The gauges appear to be very nice
originals with clear lenses and sharp markings and the three-spoke
steering Tuff steering wheel. The door panels are in excellent
condition and it's loaded with options, power steering, power disc
brakes, custom 18 inch wheels, up graded modern sound system and
more. This was an original 400 ci. 4 speed Road Runner the engine
was replaced with a date correct 440 ci. This is a great example of
a 1973 B body Road Runner, collector owner for over 20 years,
garage keep and taken care of. It is finished in its original Mist
Green with Black and Mist Green interior. It runs and drives great,
fast, dependable, iconic looks and a sound investment. #54364. Now
