A collector’s dream!

The Austin-Healey was born from the Healey Hundred, first shown at the 1952 Earls Court Motor Show. British Motor Industry legend Sir Leonard Lord, soon convinced Healey that Austin should build the car and thus gave birth to the Austin-Healey 100. The Austin-Healey's design and appeal as a true British Sports Car, resulted in strong sales across the globe in the late 1950's and early 60's. The Austin-Healey 3000 was introduced in 1959. While stylistically the same as the 100-6, the 2.6-litre 6 cylinder engine was dropped in favor of a new 3.0-litre unit that was good for 125 horsepower and pushed to 3000 to 60mph in 11 seconds. Like the 100-6 two bodies were available, the 2+2 BT7 and the 2 seater BN7 were both popular with customers. While 13,650 Mk I 3000’s were produced between 1959 and 1961, only 2,825 were built in the sporty BN7 two seater platform. Today the Austin-Healey 3000 is regarded as the pinnacle of the Austin-Healey marque and rare BN7 two-seaters are widely cherished by enthusiasts and collectors across the globe.

The 1960 Austin-Healey 3000 Mk I BN7 Roadster featured here is finished in stunning Old English White with a gorgeous Deep Red leather interior. This magnificent motorcar was meticulously restored by Kurt Tanner, a world renowned Austin-Healey marque specialist, at an astronomical cost. Accompanying this investment-grade Austin-Healey 3000 Mk I is its original owner’s manual, toolkit, restoration photos, British Motor Industry Heritage Certificate, service records and more.
