This car took first place with 99.73 points in the preservation category at Muckenthaler Concourse in May 2015 which is a tougher division than Driver or Champion as it has to be all factory original.
The vehicle was in storage for 20 years and as a result the head and motor was rebuilt including valve replacements. There is no indication of rust.
Prior to me the car has had two owners one of which was the dealer who owned the car for a very short time.
The vehicle is now registered in Florida originally it being registered in California.
Upon receipt of the vehicle given that it had been stored for twenty years a comprehensive maintenance /restoration overhaul was performed that included all new transmission filters, steering rack, trans pan gasket, radiator hoses, Brake discs, Brake pads, master cylinder, Brake hoses, wiper blades, front shock bushings, front shocks, fuel tank sender units, oil filter, coolant hose set, electric repro replica antenna, large and small radius arm bushes, spark plugs, distributor cap, ignition wire set, laser alignment, new injector, front and rear outer window trim and all fluids were replaced or added.
