MotoeXotica Classic Cars is pleased to present this 1934 Ford
Phaeton. While it may appear highly original on the outside, what's
underneath is as good as gold. We believe that in or around 1957, a
young man named Del Morgan, while he was a senior at Olympia High
School in Olympia, Washington, bought this car as a street rod or
made it into one. Documentation includes a photo of young Del with
the car, his senior photo as well as photos of the car later,
probably in the 1960s, being worked on in an auto body shop. There
is also certificate of manufacture from Total Cost Involved
Engineering for the frame. This 34 Ford Phaeton is finished in Mint
Green and white exterior is in patinacondition and gives the car
an authentic appearance. The car's lights look good, including its
Ford Twolite headlights, and it rides on Coker Classic wide
whitewalls wrapped around 15-inch teal-colored wheels. The car has
a new frame from Total Cost Involved Engineering Inc., out of
Ontario, California while Currie Enterprises in Corona, California
made the car's present hot rod rear axle. The car has an
aftermarket firewall as well as aftermarket fold-out hood supports
and front disc brakes to stop the powerful V8 power plant! The
car's bodywork is in overall good condition but it has no roof, but
convertible bows are included and the phaeton roadster model had no
trunk. There is also a tonneau cover to fit over the rear seat,
leaving just enough room for you and your favorite passenger. The
engine bay is very tidy and the bumpers look good. Under the hood
is a Chevy 350 CID small block V-8 engine fitted with a Holley
four-barrel carburetor, Edelbrock intake manifold, a Walker
radiator and Taylor spark plug wires. Backing the engine is a
three-speed automatic transmission. Driver convenience features
include power front disc and rear drum brakes. Inside, the gray and
white interior is finished in hotrod style! The front seat is
blanketed; there is no rear seat or carpet. The instrument panel,
with its billet trim and a five-gauge set from Classic Instruments,
is in good shape, as is the Ford two-spoke steering wheel. The
inner door panels are in fair condition while the mirror glass and
shift lever look good. There is no radio in this vehicle. This car
is currently located at our facility in St. Louis, Missouri.
Current mileage on the odometer shows 22,093 miles. It is sold as
is, where is, on a clean and clear, mileage exempt title. GET OUT
