This stunning 1970 Oldsmobile 442 W30 Holiday Coupe is adorned with the original and very rare Aegean Aqua paint color with complimenting black factory correct W30 striping, hood panel accents and black bucket seat/console interior. The 1970 442 W30 model is often claimed to be the pinnacle of Oldsmobile muscle car machine and is recognized by many experts as one of the top 10 muscle cars of all time. Yes, 370 horsepower and 500 lb. ft. of torque capable!!

This Lansing Michigan built 442 W-30 has been owned for nearly 19 years by current owner with previous ownership before restoration only in the dry & warm climate states of Texas and California. Lansing Michigan's Oldsmobile home plant is the only plant that built W30 option model.  This many time award winning 442 W30 was treated to a top quality frame off restoration using many NOS parts. Awards achieved include a Best of Class at an Oldsmobile Nationals (981 of 1000 points) and also top awards at several Concours shows including “Best 70’s American Muscle Car” at the 2013 Keels & Wheels Concours D’Elegance in Seabrook, TX. As recently as 2016 it was awarded Best in Class for the Muscle Car Class at the Hagerty Insurance Sportscar Vintage Racing Association (SVRA) car show in Austin TX at the Circuit of the Americas F1 Track. Also Class Winner at Willistead Classic Invitational Concours in Windsor Canada. The unusual color and overall quality always draws extra attention and also has earned many additional awards at various regional events & shows including a first place & best paint award at a local show of well over 200 cars as recently as May 2017.  Was selected to be included in the GM Employee display at the Woodward Dream Cruise twice.

This Olds 442 W30 retains its matching VIN numbers with it's W30 option 370 hp Rocket 455 engine with “F” code high compression cylinder heads and also the OW code Turb-Hydromatic 400 Transmission. The OW code tranny was only used on the W30 442's.  Other W30 option features for this “Dr. Oldsmobile Muscle Machine” are 4 barrel Rochester Quadrajet Carburetor, aluminum intake manifold, red inner front fender liners and W25 cold air induction system with dual intake Force-Air fiberglass hood. An incredibly long list of factory original options on this W-Machine also sets it apart from many others, among the options are C60 air conditioning, U58 AM/FM stereo radio, W26 floor console with iconic Hurst Dual Gate shifter, D35 dual sport mirrors, T44 interior operated hood lock, JL2 power front disc brakes, N47 Vari-Ratio power steering, A31 power windows, U21 Rocket Rally Pac gauges with Tic-Toc-Tach, W-35 rear deck spoiler, A51 Strato bucket seats, A81 Seat Shoulder Belts, A90 Power Trunk -Lid Latch, N47 sport steering wheel, N33 Tilt-Away steering wheel, C50 rear defogger, A01 tinted windows, Y60 convenience lighting package and N66 SS-II wheels with Goodyear Polyglass G-70-14 RWL tires. The Anti-Spin G91 rear axle is the AC C60 equipted required ratio of 3.23 with the W27 aluminum cover plate.

The listed price for this rare and outstanding Oldsmobile 442 W30 is based on current pricing guides, including Hagerty Insurance Valuation Guide, recent auction sales (with avg. of 10% buyer commissions), current similar quality listings, awards earned and quality of restoration/condition. At the recent Barrett Jackson Auction in Jan of 2018 a red 1971 Olds 442 W30 Holiday Coupe similarly equipped sold for $110,000 and 71's are not quite as coveted as the 1970 year model especially one in this rare color combination.
