When Chevrolet gave a facelift to the Impala model line in 1965, it
resulted in an all time US Annual sales record that still stands
today with over 1-million cars sold! In 1966, Chevrolet made minor
changes to the body and even after having the Caprice pulled from
the Impala line and turned into its own standalone model, The '66
Impala still sold over 700,000 units! It's easy to understand why
Chevy sold so many over the two year span when you look at examples
like this gorgeous 1966 Chevrolet Impala that sits in our

This amazing piece of American Muscle is powered by the legendary
327 cubic inch small block V8. Under the hood you'll find amenities
like Power Steering, power brakes and a 4-speed transmission. Under
the hood is fully detailed and the Chevy orange V8 is accented
nicely by chrome finned valve covers, chrome air filter and a set
of aftermarket headers.
Close the hood and you'll see the Lemonwood Yellow paint that shows
very nicely and is a great way to stand out against all the red
Mustangs and black Chevelles that are a dime-a-dozen at your local
cruise ins. Originally leaving the factory as a blue, today the
body panels are extremely straight and its clear it was painted by
someone who painstakingly took their time to get the paint just
perfect. The body lines aren't wavy and the chromework is in
impeccable condition.
The interior is in excellent condition with no rips, wrinkles,
warping or cracks in the dash or bench seats. The odometer is
showing just over 40k miles, but we are unsure of if that is
original or not. Based on the condition of the car, it wouldn't
surprise us one bit if that was 40,000 actual miles.
The floor pans and underside are in excellent shape; the bottom
