#s match 427 in a loaded Texas car. Documented with original
protect-o-plate. It has everything from cruise control to power
accessories and air conditioning. Sold new at Don Crow Chevrolet in
Lubbock TX on 12-18-68. It's a rock solid car. The underneath is
all original virgin, clean metal. The body is clean and straight.
Bottoms of the doors are clean. Entirely repainted with a nice
clear coat smooth finish, even the jambs. Weather stripping, window
seals and windshield have been replaced. Front bumper is new, rear
is very good original. Has the optional finned hubcaps on newer
looking tires. The interior I'm assuming has been redone because
the upholstery, door panels, headliner looks new. The dash area is
original and in really well kept, abused condition. Motor
compartment is very authentic and hasn't been monkeyed with. The
original air cleaner still has the heat riser tube attached, the
correct fuel filter is front of the engine, vin # on engine matches
the car. The air air-conditioning has been updated to R134 freon
and a recently replaced compressor. The trunk compartment, which is
huge by the way is clean metal that has been repainted the speckled
finish. It does have a mat and a spare. Very clean, honest car.
Recently a part of of a large and unique collection. These big cars
have become really popular. As we get older we appreciate some
luxury mixed with the muscle!
