Vehicle Description
Stk 2352 1968 Pontiac Firebird Convertible
Pontiac entered the pony-car market with the Firebird model in
1967. Many folks say that this Gen1 Firebird was one of the
best-looking Pontiacs to ever roll off their line. It was an
instant success story and one that continues to this day. Our fully
restored 1968 Firebird convertible is a solid example of this
enduring classic. It is happy hosting a Saturday morning parade or
testing the theories of acceleration on Saturday night. The rich
White finish (1998) is just right for this car. Stunning chrome
Pontiac chrome Rally Wheels w/new radials accent a perfect 'muscle'
stance. The fully restored black vinyl interior is every bit as
sharp as the original. Comfort and performance features include
power disc/drum brakes, power steering, tinted windows, a power
convertible top and AM radio. Horsepower comes from a 428ci RamAir
big-block Pontiac engine (1969) that was rebuilt in 2000. The motor
is housed in a well-dressed engine compartment and looks like a
factory installation. (The original 350ci motor is included with
the car.) The massive Pontiac torque is delivered to the factory
differential by a GM TH-400 automatic transmission. This
high-performance Firebird is Poncho history that will only become
more valuable over time. It is good investment and a special
driving experience. ALL VEHICLES SOLD "AS IS".
